Kubi Compressor is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not store your files and collect minimal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Files: Your uploaded files are processed only in server memory and are never written to disk or databases. All files are permanently deleted immediately after compression.
- User accounts: We do not require registration or store user accounts.
- Personal information: We do not collect names, emails, or other personal identifiers.
- File history: No record of your uploads or downloads is retained.
3. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the Service:
- IP Address: Used temporarily for rate limiting (5 compressions/day), not stored permanently.
- Usage metrics: Anonymous statistics like compression ratios for service improvement.
4. Server Logs
Our hosting provider (Railway) may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, access times) for security and operational purposes. These logs do not contain file content.
5. Cookies
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies. No browser storage is used by our Service.
6. Data Retention
All file data is automatically and permanently deleted:
- Immediately after compression is complete
- When you download the compressed file
- If an error occurs during processing
We have no ability to recover deleted files.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service is hosted on Railway. Please refer to Railway's privacy policy for information about their data practices.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
